We are not a nonprofit organization and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, or any government agency. We do not prepare, file, or determine eligibility for VA benefit claims. Official VA benefit information and assistance from accredited representatives may be available at no cost.

Nature of the Service
Veteran Family Advocates is a private commercial website. It provides general educational information about VA survivor benefits and a separate, optional service to connect visitors with a licensed independent insurance agency. We are not a government entity, law firm, VA-accredited claims service, or insurance carrier.

The educational content on this site is for informational purposes only. It does not determine eligibility for any government benefit and is not a substitute for advice from a VA-accredited representative, attorney, or other qualified professional.
Insurance Referral Service
The insurance review feature is entirely optional. When you submit the form, your information is shared with one identified insurance agency. Veteran Family Advocates may receive compensation for this introduction. Life insurance is a privately issued commercial product and is not a government benefit.
